Revitalize Indianapolis neighborhoods through well designed homes.Introduce new design ideas and concepts to the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis housing stock plans giving more options to accommodate more families and communities.
Two projects are offered to develop new exterior elevations for an existing house and a new house plan. Submissions can include both or either design options.
Proposals should create a functional and usable home for a family with an understanding of the special needs of the future homeowner.

Consider the affordability and constructability of the homes.The Habitat Homes are typically constructed by volunteers with little or no construction experience.It is imperative to consider the ability of a group of volunteers to construct the design.Designs should account for Habitat panilization,standard component sizes,and programmatic relations.
Review material choices and systems for the initial cost to purchase for Habitat for Humanity and consider a standard set of materials.Consider utilizing standard size building materials.
